1. The "Zero-Knowledge" Privacy Policy

CalcDoc is built on the principle of Data Sovereignty. This means you own your data, and we—the developers—have absolutely no way to see, touch, or access it.

1.1 No Personal Data Collection

We do not collect any Personal Identifiable Information (PII). This includes, but is not limited to: Names, Email addresses, Phone numbers, Device IDs, or IP addresses. Since there is no signup process, your identity remains anonymous.

1.2 Local Storage Only

All files (PDFs, Images, Documents) that you add to CalcDoc are stored directly on your physical device. We do not use servers. We do not use third-party cloud providers (like AWS or Google Cloud) to store your secrets.

1.3 Encryption & Password Security

Your "Equation Password" is the only key to your vault.

Local Verification: Your password logic is stored locally in a secure, hashed format.
No Backdoors: Because we have no server access, we cannot "reset" your password. If the equation is forgotten, the data remains encrypted and inaccessible.

2. Terms of Service

By using CalcDoc, you agree to the following operational conditions:

2.1 User Responsibility (The "No Backup" Clause)

Since CalcDoc is a 100% offline app, you are solely responsible for your data.

⚠️ CRITICAL DATA WARNING:

If you uninstall the app, all stored documents will be deleted by the OS.
If you lose your phone, your data cannot be recovered via a cloud account.
If you forget your equation, we cannot help you gain access.

2.2 Permitted Use

You agree to use CalcDoc only for legal purposes. You are responsible for ensuring that the content you store in your local vault complies with your local laws and regulations.

2.3 Limitation of Liability

CalcDoc is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind. The developers are not liable for any data loss caused by hardware failure, software bugs, or accidental deletion by the user.

3. Transparency Report

Because CalcDoc does not collect data and does not have a server, it is physically impossible for us to comply with data requests from third parties, governments, or advertisers. We cannot share what we do not have.
